Wow! This was a close one, and it went down to the WIRE. Over a thousand people voted, and the top two blogs ended up only six votes apart. It was a nailbiter.
Congratulations to Lorie at Be Different...Act Normal. Lorie posts a lot of fun things - project ideas for the home, ideas for easy decor and crafts, and links to fun things you can make and do. Check out this post on rain gutter bookshelves (I'm totally trying that), or this post featuring a rice krispy roller coaster (ditto), or this post showing how to make your own Pottery Barn style chalkboard panel/system (aaaaaand ditto). She even has foolproof tips for hanging your own pictures. The beauty of her blog is that she makes you think you can actually DO this stuff, even if you aren't at all crafty. (And I'm not. Oh sweet heaven, I'm not.) Everyone wander over there, browse through her fun posts, and be sure to say hello.
