My son has been begging me for a cell phone for a solid year now.
He's 6.
Obviously, this is a discussion that I flat out refuse to have with him on the grounds that,
HE'S SIX.
But for you parents who have, say, NOT a 6-year old,
What are your cell phone rules?
Do your kids have them? And why?
Is it really their phone? Or is it technically YOUR phone, or even a FAMILY cell phone that they have to share with their siblings?
And what kind of phone is it anyways? Is it a basic call and text plan, or do they have internet too?
And if they have internet, how do you monitor what they're looking at? And do they text at school?
I mean, really, kids and cell phones, WHAT DO YOU DO?
