General Conference was awesome and we always find it so interesting to hear what it is that other people hear. The talks are the same, but we each individually hear what message the Lord has in mind for us.
Two talks that we loved:
"Sometimes,
of all the people in the world, the one who is the hardest to
forgive—as well as perhaps the one who is most in need of our
forgiveness—is the person looking back at us in the mirror. This
topic of judging others could actually be taught in a two-word sermon.
When it comes to hating, gossiping, ignoring, ridiculing, holding
grudges, or wanting to cause harm, please apply the following: Stop it!" - Elder Uchtdorf
"There are going to be times in our lives when someone else gets the unexpected blessing or receives some special recognition . . . We are not diminished when someone else is added upon . . . The race we are really in is the race against sin, and surely envy is one of the most universal of those . . . Envy is a mistake that just keeps on giving . . . Coveting, pouting, or tearing others down does not elevate your standing, nor does demeaning someone else improve your self-image . . . Be kind and be grateful that God is kind." – Elder Holland
