I wasn't personally in the class at BYU Women's Conference 2013, where this was said, but my friend was, and when I heard it, I knew that I wanted to remember it. Because sometimes I think, "Hey, maybe a little guilt trip will make my kids stop misbehaving." When really, it's just going to make them feel worse, and teaching through love and understand yields much more positive results. So I'll be hanging this somewhere really central at my house to remember: "You can make children behave better by making them feel worse". Said by Heather Stephenson.
