Fraser is the "green" real estate developer of Rocky Springs, but as construction begins, the forest animals revolt. Led by a clever raccoon, the forest animals sabotage Fraser at every turn. From keeping him up all night, to stealing his clothes, the animals do what they can to save their home.
With the opening of this movie, comes a pretty cool Social Action Campaign called Take Part.
Take Part focuses on teaching children the importance of protecting endangered species and preserving habitats. Set up by Summit Entertainment with wild life organizations National Wildlife Federation, Defenders of Wildlife, the Endangered Species Coalition, and more, you'll find different activities that you can do to Take Part in protecting and preserving nature's living things for future generations to enjoy.
There's even a printable activity guide that will help your kids learn about their home environment. What animals live in your backyard? What plants do you see? It would be a great way to get your kids outside and help make them aware of their surroundings, and it's a good reminder for you too.
