Amazing. Overwhelming.
Perhaps the sanest form of preparedness is more along the lines of "provident living." Thoughtfully prepare for future emergencies but don't focus on fearful events.
You could probably use this matrix as a starting place, or maybe only as entertainment. Of course we should be prepared and we should take advantage of knowledge as it's presented to us. But if something like this graphic throws us into the grip of anxiety, has it served a purpose?
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matt 6:34)
God wants us to prepare, but he doesn't want us to live in fear. The act of preparation should take away fear instead of instilling it. Do a little each day. Learn a skill that increases your self-sufficiency. Buy two cans of chili instead of one. Figure out how to reuse or make over something instead of trashing it.
Let your preparations bring you peace instead of panic.
