Squeeballs for Wii GIVEAWAY and review *closed*

Recently MMB was contacted by Performance Designed Products (PDP) to use and review their Wii and Nintendo DS game called "Squeeballs Party". "Squeeballs Party" is a fun, family friendly game that provides hours of entertainment for the whole family. Moms will love that "Squeeballs Party" gets kids up and moving with the game's 150 active mini-games, and kids will like the mischievous antics featured in the game.

Our family received both the Wii game and the Nintendo Ds game just in time for Thanksgiving. It came in a box that had Squeeballs Stuffies-- which the baby promptly deemed hers. The characters we were sent, and the ones in the games are quite colorful and bright!

We have children ages 14, 11, 6 and 1. Everyone, excluding the toddler, loved this game! For several hours, I heard nothing but laughing, as they sat TOGETHER playing this game! And, the baby joined right in throwing her stuffed Squeeballs at them.

The graphics seemed to be big and bright. The kids liked them on the Wii better than the DS game. They also felt that the game was easier to maneuver in the Wii than the DS.

The kids said the rules were pretty straightforward, making it easy for the six-year to play, once they were explained. Be warned that if have younger kids playing this game, you will need to take the time to help them with the challenges that are a little trickier.

"Squeeballs Party" is rated E10+ (Everyone 10 and older) with the descriptors "Cartoon Violence" by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). My six-year old had a little difficulty at first trying to play this game. But, the older kids took the time to work with her and show her how to play, and she is now able to play solo quite well. She cannot, however, play it on the DS. It was just too difficult for her, and her reading skills weren't advanced enough.

Here is more information on the game:

Squeeballs are 12 toys that are manufactured on a secret island somewhere in the Pacific. Before they can be sold to children around the world, the Squeeballs must be fully put to the test...to the point of destruction! You can blow up, cook, slice, bat, bowl, shoot and bounce the Squeeballs. The game features a unique collection of 11 party games, each taking place in a different environment from lava-filled canyons, bowling alleys and kitchens to science labs and snow-capped mountains. As the game progresses and more challenges are met - each one more difficult than the last - the game showcases more than 150 unique challenges. The game is available for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS/DS Lite/DSi, Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. The Wii version features 11 party games; other versions vary in content.

My kids thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, and I enjoyed hearing them laugh and squeal as they played the game together! Even Jefe (the Dad-guy) played. He said that it was fun, but it is aimed more for kids, so he lost interest after awhile.

You can find Squeeballs Party anywhere that video games are sold. They have currently lowered the price from $29.99 to $19.99-- just in time for Christmas. This would be an excellent choice for kids about 8 years old and older. It is a great, active game that entertains as well as engages!
